Which Method of Hair Extensions is the "Best"?

The artist applying the extensions is most important to be considered first.. How long have they been doing extensions for? Are they licensed in cosmetology and certified in hair extensions? Through which method or methods of extensions are they certified? How many continuing education courses on hair extensions have they taken? All of these questions play an important factor when it comes to deciding which method is the best option for you. Like with anything in the world, there are pros and cons with all methods of hair extensions... When it all boils down, there are three main factors that are most important when choosing a method most perfect for you: which method fits your lifestyle, budget, and hair type. For example, tape extensions may be more fit for clients with finer hair, but maintenance every 6-8 weeks may not be in their budget, so keratin bonds may be a better alternative. Some clients prefer to visit their stylist more often than not to have their extensions styled and maintained, in this case, the micro link method would be ideal. Clients may be eligible for a combination of extension techniques such as micro links combined with keratin bonds (above the crown area), for extra volume that is less detectable.
